Senior Recital: Tyler Howell, saxophone

The event, titled, “Lebensbaum” (Tree of Life) is a recital about the intricacies of life as reflected in musical experiences. This performance seeks to express the significance of life and interconnectedness of our experiences at both at an individual and universal level, and how they lead us toward creativity, empathy, and growth.
The recital will feature music by Lucy Armstrong, William Albright, Steven Banks, Jennifer Jolly, Florence Price and Ned Rorem.
Tyler is a graduating senior majoring in saxophone performance.
