About the Event:
Join us for our Afternoon Tea Parent Information/Support Group—a warm and welcoming space for parents in the London borough of Barking & Dagenham. Our Care, Share, and Listening Ear sessions provide a supportive environment for parents to connect, share experiences, and gain insights on relevant topics impacting families today.

What to Expect:

• Free Afternoon Tea: Relax and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea on us, offered every other month.
• Insightful Talks: Each session features a talk on current topics affecting parents and children.
• Safe Sharing Space: Share your experiences, challenges, and perspectives within a supportive group.
• Community Connections: Make new friends, build connections, and join an exciting new community of parents.
• Free Limited-Capacity Crèche: Got little ones? Register early to secure a spot in our complimentary crèche.

Whether you're looking for advice, community, or simply a break, our group welcomes you to a unique experience of support and connection.

Topic: Help with finding employment and gaining new skills in order to re-enter the employment market. We will discuss what training and upskilling may be needed to re enter the job market and how to juggle training/work and parenthood. We will also look at how to combat feelings of guilt when returning to work and what childcare services are available to parents.
