Welcome to WiBD Data Dates: Bias in Data! Join us at Bier Zu Liebe, on Brunnenstrasse, on September 24, 2025 from 6:30 PM for an evening dedicated to all things Bias in Data.

This is our NEXT event in our Series of events - Data Dates - and would love you to join us for a discussion round around a specific topic. Instead of a normal "Afterworks" we will have a topic for the evening and discuss around it!

This time we are focusing on BIAS in data - and we would like to invite you join us, in a smaller group. Seats are limited, so sign up now!

We want to discuss the topic of BIAS in data - is there such a thing as unbiased data or does all data come with bias?

And how do we detect Bias?

Last time we discussed data quality, and our members shared some very valuable insights. This time we want to dig deeper , and look at bias.

We have 4 main discussion rounds in which we discuss:

• What type of bias may we face?
• What are root causes?
• Who is responsible for addressing bias in data?
• What impact may bias in data have.

We plan to do this interactively and use a tool to structure the discussions and to have everyone contribute with opinions. We will then discuss the results together.
