Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Unarmed, Full-time, and Flex Security Officers on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Various shifts and days are available for the Houston/ Freeport area for Full-time, Unarmed, as well as FLEX Security Officers with a pay rate starting at $15.50/hr and up – paid weekly.
((You must have Texas Level II security license in hand.))

This is a walk-in event. Please come prepared to interview with our hiring managers.
Requirements:
- Must have Texas Level II Security License in hand
- All positions require a TWIC card in-hand
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
FLEX positions will be considered (you must be available to work any shift, any days of the week, including weekends
- Must demonstrate excellent written, oral, analytical, and communication skills.
- Must be willing to participate in provided, monthly follow-on training (to include regular range time) and show ongoing and evolving skill improvement.
- Capable of performing duties with a high level of accuracy and ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and good judgement as all times.
Security officers may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
