Crossing Hands: A Kungfu Exchange is a unique gathering of traditional kungfu practitioners from diverse lineages coming together in the spirit of mutual respect, sportsmanship, and shared growth. Through sparring (dashou), push hands (tuishou), Chinese wrestling (shuai tuishou/shuaijiao), and joint locking (qinna), we honor the essence of our arts—not in dominance, but in discipline, clarity, and honest exchange.
This is not a tournament. It is a living dialogue between hands, where each encounter is a mirror and every confrontation a teacher. Whether you’re a seasoned fighter, a dedicated student, or a rank beginner you’ll find an open space to test your skill, refine your timing, and deepen your understanding of traditional barehand combat in a supportive and structured environment.
We gather to elevate the legacy of our arts, preserve the spirit of our predecessors, and foster a community where the traditional martial arts live on—through contact, through humility, and through respect and honor.
