Rumbullion!: Tiki-La class with Tonga Tim, brought to you by Tequila Patrón

Tonga Tim brings back his beloved "Rumbullion: Tiki-La" class to Tiki Underground October 11 from 12-2PM. This class explores the origins, making, flavors and lore behind Mexico's classic spirit, tequila. It will also show you how tequila has undergone a craft resurrection over the past decades, and also how it has impacted tiki drinks and culture.

Patrón Tequila brings you this special expanded installment, which has never been offered in Ohio. It looks at Patrón's significant impact on the perception and growth of the tequila category, and also how it inventively made its way into the world of tropical cocktails.

We will also take a brief tour through the world of mezcal, which preceded and eventually led us to tequila. Also a newer twist on this class, we will look at a few eclectic Mexican spirits that live alongside these two more prominent categories.

To further sweeten the pot still, this class will feature two signature tequila and mezcal cocktails from Tim's cocktail books. And between these bookends, you will experience a unique flight of four Patrón spirits by Portfolio Ambassador Michelle Fiorta. These will include their more eclectic and sought-after spirits, such as Patrón Sherry Cask Finish and Patrón Ahumado Reposado.
