About the event

Farm & Ranch Succession Planning
Producers and ag families are invited to the Southwest Nebraska Cattlemen December Meeting at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, featuring farm and ranch succession expert Allan Vyhnalek. The program will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 2–4 p.m. in the NCTA Education Center Auditorium.
Vyhnalek, a former State Extension Educator specializing in Farm/Ranch Succession and Transition, brings more than 34 years of experience working with Nebraska and Iowa agricultural families. His presentation will focus on practical strategies for beginning succession discussions, navigating tough family conversations, and preparing the next generation to continue the operation.
The event is free to attend, with cookies and coffee provided. For more information, contact Jessica Rodman at 308-367-5285 or anJvZG1hbjIgfCB1bmwgISBlZHU=. The meeting is sponsored locally by Western Nebraska Bank.
