As part of our Right to Health campaign, United Workers is standing with the NVMA to demand our right to health.
The Nonviolent Medicaid Army is picking up Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s call to build a nonviolent army of the poor to end poverty. We are uniting across all lines of division. We come together for support, survival, and strategy.
Western Maryland is severely impacted by lack of housing, healthcare, and food. We hear stories from our members who struggle daily with the cost of prescriptions, insurance denials of care, and the rising costs of rent and groceries.
Poverty is the 4th leading cause of death in this country. The ruling class is not going to save us – we have to save ourselves!
