About Jamie Black
You could say that Jamie Black is a bard, a story-crafter and an engagement master. Jamie hosted and facilitated, trained and mentored hundreds of people over the span of 20+ years in the field of Outdoor Play. With an Masters of Arts in Environmental Education and Communication, and a passion for connecting children to the Earth, Jamie is on a mission to help Earth-conscious people tell their story.
Recognizing trends and changes in the online storytelling and digital age, Jamie has harnessed the power of a cell phone, and a few online tools to produce simple and authentic digital stories.
Jamie has always supported and trained young people, and realized recently that it would be a good fit to train young people to become good digital storytellers, entrepreneurs, teaching marketing and financial literacy, priority management and communication. These youth who are in the team are eager, learning quickly and, with a bit of guidance, producing useful content that can be used easily.
One of our clients, Michaela, jumped onboard right away, and offered a glowing review. Within one short month, their confidence in online storytelling, recording herself and documenting the stories of life now, was infectious, and she is growing her business on-going.
