Join us for a powerful Kristallnacht commemoration featuring the Requiem Ebraico by survivor Eric Zeisl—a moving tribute to his father and the victims of the Shoah. Originally conceived as a memorial work, this profound composition has become one of Zeisl’s most frequently performed pieces.
Presented by Adat Shalom in Westwood, the program will be conducted by Dr. Noreen Green, Founding Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony, and will feature Kol Ha’am: Voice of the People Choir; vocal soloists Cantors Mark Childs, Elizabeth Kerstein, and Lisa Peicott; and LA Philharmonic cellist Barry Gold. Special guest E. Randol Schoenberg, Esq.—grandson of Eric Zeisl—will speak on the legacy of his grandfather’s music and memory.
Experience an unforgettable evening of remembrance, resilience, and the enduring power of Jewish music.
