An evening honoring the life and legacy of 1954 World Cup champion Horst Eckel, presented by his daughter Dagmar Eckel. The program features readings from her book, personal reflections, original memorabilia, and selected scenes from The Miracle of Bern. Through family stories and film, Eckel explores how sport, resilience, and memory shaped a generation and continue to inspire today.
