Chester Whitmore Tap Series

L.A. Swing Dance Posse and the Mid City Art Center proudly present a tap series with The Lord of the Swing.

Come learn how to tap the old-school way.
With shuffles, flaps, digs, and time steps. Learn moves from the traditional Shim Sham, AKA "GOOFUS".


No experience is necessary to join the beginning class. All dancers, regardless of their dance background, are welcome. However, this series does progress into intermediate steps.

Classes 8:30 pm to 10
90 minute class

4 courses for $120. starting Sept 22nd to Oct 13th, 2025
