“The Road to Freedom Started Here, The Culpeper Minute Battalion of 1775”

In October 1775, over 600 men from Fauquier, Culpeper, and Orange counties marched off to war. It would prove to be the largest deployment of militiamen in Virginia in 1775-76.
Historian Jim Bish will discuss the formation of the famed Culpeper Minutemen and the critical role they played in the American Revolution.
