Open house for Parkinson's disease support program

Community members with Parkinson’s disease, their family members and care partners are invited to an open house at Powell Wellness Center in Culpeper to learn about the center’s Rock Steady Boxing program supporting individuals with PD.

Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) is a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum designed to improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s disease. Open house attendees are welcome to participate in the day's RSB program or observe. Program managers at the wellness center will be available to answer questions. This event is free.

Powell also hosts a Parkinson’s support group (2nd Wed of each month, 11:30 am).
