For more than 50 years, WCU’s Mountain Heritage Day has honored the music, stories, and traditions of Appalachia — and now the celebration is bigger than ever.

New this year, enjoy a full week of events, from evening lectures and heritage demonstrations to a Friday night concert in Sylva. Then, on Saturday, experience the festival you know and love with live music, clogging, cultural showcases, arts and crafts, great food, and family fun. It’s a fresh take on a beloved tradition — and an unforgettable way to celebrate the spirit of the mountains.
