With the previous events being so popular it was only right that we held another Vintage Cars for Young Drivers Day in partnership with ReFuel and Howden Insurance (RH). With the automotive industry constantly changing it’s more important than ever to get the younger generations involved with vintage cars.
The day itself will be full of a variety of fun activities both indoors and outdoors. Such activities have been created to provide young people with the hands-on experience with classic cars that they won’t find anywhere else. Activities include the opportunity to actually drive an Austin 7 around a closed circuit, even if you are below the legal driving age! Also engine building and running and hands on fixing a chassis and brakes. Gloves and hand cleaner provided! New for this event will be an area to buy and sell Austin Sevens. Whether you’re a young adult looking to grow your own interest in vintage cars or even a mature adult looking to teach your children or grandchildren about the good ol’ days of motoring make sure to come along and its completely free.
