YVONNES WALL CLIMB

Hi everyone.

I have a story to tell.
Over the past few months 71 year old, Irlam resident Yvonne Pike has set herself a very inspirational challenge in memory of her late husband…..

Over the past few months she has been training in hope of being able to climb to the top of the climbing wall at Irlam fire station . She is going to attempt the climb on SUNDAY 1st March …..

She wants to raise awareness and money for motor neuron disease In memory of her late husband who was a fire fighter at Irlam station many years ago .
It will be the 30th anniversary of his death.

Yvonne is a very brave and inspirational person and I personally am backing her all the way and considering she has never climbed before now I think it will be an absolutely amazing achievement.

If anyone can come along on the day to show support that would be greatly appreciated .
We haven’t set a time yet but I’ll let you know when we do.
