About the event

Conflict De-escalation in the Workplace
This course will provide the participants with some basic to mid-level tools that will help them identify and address situations that have become or are going in the direction of becoming a verbal or physical conflict. It is approached from an active listening mindset but does provide some mid-level neurolinguistic programming instruction. Lastly, the course offers some best practices on how to respond if the conflict starts to head in a direction of physical altercation. The course takes approximately 1 hour depending on the number of and engagement of the
participants. Space is limited and registration is required. Please contact Cuba Library at (585) 968-1668, message us on Facebook, or email Y3ViYSB8IHN0bHMgISBvcmc= to sign up.

Taught by Frank V. Schostick
Patrolman / Information Technology Officer
