Hello! We will start with a potluck/picnic and transition to a song circle in the park on Tuesday nights until it gets too cold.
Bring instruments, songs, food or drinks to share, or just come to sing or hang out and listen. We will be meeting in parks near playgrounds for kiddos to let loose while we sing.
Leaf (the song-leading persona of Drew) will be hosting. This circle welcomes oral tradition songs, musical theater, folk, gospel, fiddle tunes, improv, freestyle, hip-hop, and any other creative thing you might want to bring. Leaf will have an opening song or two, and then the space will open up for volunteer song leaders. Poetry, story telling, or sharing from the heart is all welcome.
