According to the Psalms, the well being of the human family, peace on earth, and a stable future for the planet depend on divine justice. Beginning with Psalm 82, we will explore the enthronement psalms, royal psalms, torah psalms, laments, songs of praise, psalms of assurance, and song of Zion. This re-reading reveals that the Psalms nurture an active spirituality that invites us to join God’s works of establishing justice and peace on a creation-encompassing scale!
