This year, we’re reimagining our annual SkyHigh portrait photography workshop by moving it to the Croydon Camera House Studio. Join us for an immersive evening where you’ll learn to capture stunning portraits using both studio and natural lighting. With models, professional lighting, and expert guidance, you’ll discover how to shape light, craft compelling compositions, and highlight the best in your subjects.

Explore Three Unique Setups:

• Studio Lighting Mastery: Work with a step-by-step setup to understand how each light affects your subject, layering lights to create dramatic effects.
• Creative Indoor Studio: Let your artistic side shine as you experiment with innovative lighting techniques designed to inspire.
• Outdoor Flexibility: Weather permitting, explore an outdoor setup where you’ll learn to adapt to your environment and use natural surroundings to create beautiful images.

Nikon will provide a selection of cameras and lenses for you to test out, while Nanlite bring a range of colourful lighting equipment to help you achieve next-level portraits. Throughout the evening, you’ll participate in set challenges, including photographing models and using flash lighting, to further hone your skills.

Event Details:

• Tickets: $75 per person (+bf), including finger food, studio entry, and expert tuition.
• Bring Your Gear: Nikon equipment will be available, but feel free to bring your own camera, lenses, a fully charged battery, and a memory card.
• Who Can Attend: All photography enthusiasts are welcome, regardless of skill level or camera brand.
