Expertech Automotive Training and Consulting is offering an intensive two-day, hands-on training program designed to enhance the diagnostic skills of automotive technicians using a labscope. This course is ideal for both entry-level technicians new to diagnostics and experienced professionals looking to refine their labscope expertise.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of fundamental principles, proper setup, and effective operation of a labscope. The training will focus on waveform analysis and key diagnostic techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency. A special emphasis will be placed on current ramping—an advanced method that significantly accelerates diagnostics by providing deeper insights into vehicle issues.
Additionally, attendees will learn a practical five-minute compression testing technique, particularly useful for engines with limited spark plug access, such as those in Ford vans. This hands-on training is designed to equip technicians with the skills needed to diagnose complex issues with greater precision and confidence.
