Nature Hike

Spend the day hiking the scenic trails of Coonskin Park while learning to identify a variety of plants found in our native Appalachian forests. Participants will explore medicinal, edible, ornamental, and non-edible plants and discover which parts can be used for homesteading or have potential market value.

This day-long, hands-on workshop is a perfect opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the natural resources around us and connect with the richness of our local environment.
