On this particular night, the bar glimmered with golden light and pulsed with the laughter of the rich and famous. The occasion? A private wrap party for the noir film The Crimson Curtain—a film rumored to be cursed.

The cast and crew gathered under the bar's opulent chandeliers, toasting their success with glasses of champagne. Among them was Veronica Vale, the film's leading lady, known for her beauty, sharp wit, and a string of scandals that kept the tabloids busy. She glided through the crowd, draped in silk and diamonds, her laugh as sharp as a dagger. But Veronica had secrets, and so did everyone else.

As the clock struck midnight, the mood shifted. A sudden power outage plunged the bar into darkness, silencing the partygoers. When the lights flickered back on, Veronica Vale was slumped over the piano, her lifeless body draped dramatically over the keys.
