That's right... we're back over the summer holidays with summer holiday sessions inspired by some of our very favourite books!
This week is The Very Hungry Caterpillar! (Monday 28th July)
The mornings are very relaxed and consist of lots of free play within the woods (mud kitchens, hammocks, bubble blowing, tree climbing etc…). Children will get the chance to craft their very own beautiful butterfly and help make a caterpillar as a group. We will also read the story around the campfire. With that said, if your child is happy just digging a hole for the whole session - then so are we!
All children will get a snack of apple and cheese as well as a cupcake and a drink. Parents get a cake and hot drink too!
Sessions cost £10 for one child to attend with an adult. Due to limited space and where possible we ask that you try to keep to one adult per child attending. Booking at www.bookwhen.com/roamoutdoors
Our lower age reccommendation is 18 months. If you have a child just under 18 months who is capably mobile and you feel they would be able to join in with activities, then you are welcome to book them in and come along. Please message us if you are unsure.
If you are attending with a child over 18months but also have a baby who would struggle to acesss the activities then you are welcome to bring them along in a pram, sling etc... free of charge.
We are conscious that during the summer holidays you may wish to attend with your toddler but also have an older sibling over the age of 5 with you. We try to keep the spaces reserved for toddlers as these sessions are most appropriate for that age, However, if you wish to bring a sibling who is older, then you will need to book them a space too and let us know in the "other information" section of the booking form.
Please note - We may need to cancel sessions if the weather is not safe. Decisions will be made at the earliest time possible (ideally the evening before but may be on the morning). Please check your emails for a message from us before attending sessions, particularly if there is a forecast of high winds or extreme heavy rain. You will be fully refunded in any such event.
