Orpheus and Eurydice by Gluck

Lyster Opera is delighted to return to Creswick Town Hall with a beautiful new production of Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice.

This timeless opera tells the story of Orpheus, the grieving musician who dares to journey into the underworld to bring back his beloved Eurydice. Along the way he faces the fury of the Furies, the peace of the Blessed Spirits, and the ultimate test of love, faith and endurance.

This production is sung in French with English surtitles, and features some of Melbourne’s most exciting professional singers.
