Magic: the Gathering Regional Championship Qualifier (Season 4 Round 2)
Date: Saturday, October 18
Time: Registration from 10:30am to 11:30am, tournament starts at 12:00pm
Format: Standard constructed, deck lists are required
Entry fee: $25.00 per person (includes tax)
Prizes: One play booster pack, one promo card, plus pizza for lunch. Additional event prizing is detailed below.
*THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 48 PLAYERS. You can preregister and submit your decklist at
https://melee.gg/Organization/Tournaments/4164. IF YOU PREREGISTER BUT DO NOT SHOW UP TO THE SHOP BY 11:30AM, YOUR SPACE WILL BE OFFERED TO SOMEONE ELSE.
Upon arriving at the shop, please pay the entry fee, then turn in your deck and official deck list to the tournament organizer to be reviewed before the event begins. Your deck should be appropriately sleeved, and if there are any issues with the sleeves, you will be asked to put on a new sleeve(s) before we begin. Players not completing registration including their deck check by 11:45pm may be entered as late to the event and may not play round 1. Rounds will be 50 minutes, best of three games (top cut matches are untimed). Event structure is swiss rounds and top cut, all dependent on total number of participants. This event is expected to last several hours, so we will be offering pizza for lunch around 3-4pm.
Prizing for the event is one play booster pack ($5.99 value). Top placer prizing is as follows:
First Place - 1 invitation to a Season 4 Regional at an SCGCon, plus one "Laughing Jasper Flint" foil alt art card, plus one "Laughing Jasper Flint" alt art card, plus 12 play booster packs
Second Place - One "Laughing Jasper Flint" alt art card, plus 8 booster packs
Third and Fourth Places - One"Laughing Jasper Flint" alt art card, plus 6 booster packs
Fifth through Eighth Places - One"Laughing Jasper Flint" alt art card, plus 4 booster packs
If we get more than 32 players, then only the top 32 will receive a "Shoot the Sheriff" alt art card.
*Booster pack prizing will be adjusted lower or higher depending on total number of participants.
