Creston Fruit Grower Meeting & Field Tour

Join Pearl Agricultural Consulting and BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food for another grower meeting morning focused on fruit production, water sustainability, and research updates relevant to growers in the Creston Valley. This meeting is part of our ongoing project highlighting deficit irrigation.

• Field tour of cherries under deficit irrigation controlled by a new Verdi irrigation automation system
• Visiting researcher Kirsten Hannam from Agriculture and Agrifood Canada will share updates from projects at the Summerland Research & Development Centre
• Intro to accessing your Erickson water system metering data and updates on the Regional District's watershed sustainability project
