About the event

Pawsome Reading Program with Therapy Dogs at Cresson Public Library
Boost your child's reading skills!

Cresson Public Library is holding their Pawsome Reading Program on Saturday, February 21, 10 -11:30am.

Children who read to dogs boost reading fluency and comprehension. Parents will notice an increase in self-esteem and confidence. Children who struggle with reading aloud can relax by reading to a dog without fear of making mistakes and will begin enjoying to read! This program will build a positive association with reading - and children will actually WANT to read.

PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR ONE-ON-ONE SESSION BY CALLING THE LIBRARY at 814-886-2619.

The Pawsome Reading Program will take place once/month on Saturdays at 10am.
