Come join us at "Cork and Brew" in Pawtuxet Village for an afternoon of collages and wine!
Interested in engaging with a creative outlet but don't know where to start? Collage allows you to flex your creative muscles in a low stress environment all while bonding with a community of like minded creatives.
Collage is all about the journey rather than the destination, so expect to have some fun, laugh and share pieces of yourself, all without the pressure of making a pre-determined product.
Your teacher will guide you through a few design tips and tricks as you practice creating collages inspired by your favorite songs. This class "Mixed Tape" will take place in Cork and Brew, so wine and other beverages are available for purchase and can be consumed during the class. In addition, snacks can be brought in.
Materials will be provided for you, but please bring extra ephemera (stuff you make a collage with). Some welcome ephemera includes, old magazines, vintage papers, tissue paper, lace or other textiles, envelopes (you wouldn't believe how pretty the inside of envelopes can be) and anything else that inspires you.
