Overlanding Wisconsin and Michigan on Seven Hour Plane Crash Trail. Anyone is welcome, this trail is a level 3 of 10 according to OnX, and allows full size vehicles such as Wranglers, 4Runners, Pickup Trucks, etc.
There is EXTREMELY limited cellphone reception. Please download OnX maps for offline use if you have OnX Off Road. Please bring extra radios if you have any and are willing to / go buy a radio for this trip if you’re able to. It made it really easy to communicate this past year with them.
The trail takes roughly 10 hours to complete with a group of 25 based off last years experience. So we will be splitting the trip up into 3 days on the trail. Theres multiple camp sites along the trail, we will on night one camp at Katherine/ Perch Lake. Camping is $14 a site. The second night campsite will be up near copper harbor and os TBD. Most people slept in their vehicles, but we did have some 2024 sleeping in a tent.

Trip start 8 am, Aug. 30th.
8:00 am Stop 1: 12224 74th St Kenosha, WI 53142 United States leaving at 8:15 am.
9:30 am. Stop 2: 7002 Sauk Trail Rd Sheboygan, WI 53081 United States leaving at 9:45 am.
11:15 am. Stop 3: 205 N Warrington St Cecil, WI 54111 United States leaving at 11:30 am.
1:00 pm. Stop 4: 300 W Glen St Crandon, WI 54520 United States leaving at 1:15 pm.
Sunset should be about 8:30 pm. We’ll get on the trail at around 1:30 pm. We’ll stop to set up camp around 6 pm. Then continue the rest of the trail the following day. Once we finish the trail, we’ll set up camp again up in copper harbor MI, then Monday, take 41 back south and skip the trail. Others are welcome to hop back on the trail if they choose to.
