Have you always wanted to learn to tie your own flies? What fly's work for fishing in our area? Do you want to learn & compare methods from other Fly fisher enthusiasts?
NOW is your chance!
The Fly Tying Club will meet every other Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm except November 25th (due to room bookings)
In the Manual Training School (attached to the library)
We are excited to partner with the Rocky Mountain Fly Fishers on this program.
This is a FREE event but you are encouraged to purchase the following supplies to get you started as supplies are NOT included.
For beginner fly tying, you'll need a good quality vise, bobbin holder, and sharp scissors, along with a whip finisher, hackle pliers, and a bodkin. You will also need basic materials like thread (in black, tan, and red), wire, and a few fly patterns' worth of other materials like hackle and dubbing. Starter kits are a convenient way to get many of these items at once.
Registration is required (your first attendance only so we have an idea of numbers & space required) by emailing Shellie at
