About the event

Biodiversity Event for 4th-8th Graders
Embrace the call of nature with Wilson Public Library’s Fall Biodiversity Event: Animal Detectives. For 4th-8th grade students, this session will happen on Thursday, October 2, from 1-4pm. Learn more about mammals, animal camouflage, and other amazing facts using hands-on activities. There's no cost and snacks will be served halfway through the event. Class size is limited, so register by calling us at 308-784-2019 or stop at the front desk. Registration closes on September 25. In collaboration with a UNL Biodiversity Grant, Sarah Fanning, a Dawson County Extension Educator, leads the classes. Sarah is a botanist by trade and has worked as a paleontologist, park ranger, and a middle school science teacher.
