Thrive’s Annual 5k

Volpenhein Shelter (Right next to Drees Pavilion)- Race starts at 9:30am with prizes provided by Tri-State Running!

The Thrive 5K is a community-action event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, showing support for all survivors and taking a stand against violence in our area. All profits from the race go to provide free Empowerment Self-Defense and therapeutic programming for survivors in need.

While you’re warming up before the race, please join us for a resource fair to learn more about the impact of domestic violence and ways to prevent it. There will also be opportunities to connect with local organizations working to support survivors and end the cycle of abuse.
