Kayaking the Bogue Falaya

Sort of an impromptu decision.

There will be a group of three or four of us already that have decided to go out there. Absolutely anyone interested add yourself on and meet us out there! The Bogue Falaya is pretty busy at this time of year, but it’s fun enough for beginners, especially as a couple of our paddlers will be. The water is very shallow in a lot of places. There are areas to pull over and picnic so think of that and bring your own sandwiches or whatever you want to eat or drink, and let’s have a good time. I like to get out in the water when it’s shallow and just relax and cool off. It’s very good for that as well.

Waterproof bag
Sunscreen
Waters
Picnic type food
Towels
Waterproof phone holder
Change of clothes
Small umbrella in case it rains
Hat
A sense of humor

What is not needed:
Bug spray
Politics
An outboard motor
Money, unless you just want to give some to me just because ;)
