Suns of Rest is a band that crafts a deeply immersive auditory experience, combining the introspective lyricism and atmospheric soundscapes of genres like shoegaze and post-rock with a certain grunge-tinged emotional intensity. They channel Coventry’s industrial backdrop into their music which gives a raw, authentic edge while maintaining ethereal and dream-like qualities. Blending the melancholy and grit of Pearl Jam with the lush, reverb-drenched soundscapes of The Verve painting Suns of Rest as a band that balances grounded emotion with vast, swirling sonic expanses.

Combining the massive hooks of mid-90s Cool Britannia, with a crunch and rhythm rooted in bouncy pop-rock mixed with sprinkles or hardcore, this fresh four piece offers songs that are catchy and pack a punch. Sweet Mischief’s debut singles were released during the summer of 2025 – instant earworms for anyone who heard them – and they capped off an impressive start to life with a rousing set at Camper Calling Festival.
