RE(FIX), RE(THINK), RE(CONNECT)
A hands-on community event built around practical creativity, everyday repair, and doing more with what’s already around us.
Join us on Saturday 28th June (11am–1pm) at Warwick Row United Reformed Church, Coventry.
We’ll be running:
---
Bottles Up
Transform used bottles into planters or propagators.
Bring a clean bottle (glass or plastic), or use one of ours.
---
RE(FIX) Station
Repair, rethink, and restore items with guidance from the RE(FIX) crew.
We’ll have tools and materials to explore fixes and reworks for:
Toys, cables, headphones, and game controllers
Small tech and household items
Visible mending and hand repairs
Minor laptop faults
With electrical safety checks by Ryan from RJ PAT Testing (2 items per person max — time and space depending)
---
Creative OUT(LET)
Make, explore, or build something from what’s already in circulation.
No set outcome. No pressure. Just space to create.
---
For children
A plastic bottle version of Bottles Up and open-ended creative materials to explore and make something of their own.
---
Tickets:
£6 Standard (includes entry, one activity, and a drink)
£4 Go CV+ cardholders
£3 Pay What You Can (minimum)
£3 for each additional activity (1 activity = 1 token)
Tickets can be shared across friends or family — use them however works for you.
---
No need to book — but you can reserve in advance if you’d like to.
We’re here for what’s already working, what’s still worth keeping, and what’s ready to be made new again.
