Lord Mayor 's Walking Tour of Coventry’s Historic Centre

Join the Lord Mayor of Coventry on a walking tour of Coventry’s historic centre.

Your guide for the event is renowned Blue Badge certified tour guide Roger Bailey, who will lead you back in time to the start of the city’s story and weave a tale of life through the ages.

The tour will start on the steps of the Council house in Earl Street, and meander around the historic quarter ending back at the council house inside the council chamber.

You’ll then have the opportunity to indulge in a cream tea in the hospitality suite, hosted by the Lord Mayor.

All proceeds from the historic walk support the Heart of England Community Foundation the Lord Mayor's chosen charity.

Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis, only 25 are available, so if you'd like to attend please don't hesitate.

As we will be walking around cobbled streets the surface may be uneven, and there may be a step or two, but we will do our utmost to make sure that the walk is as accessible as possible.

The one thing we can't control is the weather so please dress accordingly.
