1871 Sanctuary of Sickness: Coventry’s Cholera Outbreak LIVE EXPERIENCE

Coventry is drowning in disease. The streets reek of waste, the air thick with vinegar and camphor—desperate attempts to ward off the invisible killer. The dead are buried in haste at London Road Cemetery, their final toll marked by the echoing chime of the church bell. Fear spreads faster than the sickness itself, and inside the city’s makeshift sanctuaries, desperation reigns.

At 6:00 PM, the heavy sanctuary doors slam shut. No one may leave.

The old cholera hospital—later part of Gulson Road Hospital—has become a house of suffering. The afflicted and the fearful huddle under dim lantern light, clinging to the hope of survival. London Road’s sanctuary, once a church, now serves as their final shelter. But is it truly a place of safety—or a death sentence?

Inside these walls, every decision matters.

You will be allocated a character role, and a role card.

Among the desperate souls trapped inside, some hide secrets… others hide symptoms.

As the night unfolds, paranoia sets in. Who is already sick? Who will survive?

From 6 PM to 10 PM, you will be fully immersed in the chilling reality of 1871, where history comes alive and survival is anything but guaranteed.

At 10 PM, suspicion reaches its peak. The group must make a choice:
