Career EdVantage, formerly Avenue Scholars Southwest Iowa is more than just an economic and workforce development pipeline for our business community—it’s a powerful initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty. Instead of waiting to react to crises such as food or housing insecurity, we take proactive steps to empower young people with the stability, guidance, and support they need to thrive.
Funds raised will directly support students of Career EdVantage by providing:
Career Stability – Career guidance, job training, and internship opportunities that prepare young people for stable, long-term employment.
Financial Stability – Financial literacy programs that teach smart decision-making, saving, and planning for the future.
Life Stability – Access to essential resources, mentorship, and counseling to help students overcome personal challenges and build healthy, successful lives.
