The Mark Harrison Band - Live!

Mark Harrison was the 7th artist to appear at The Club, that was way back in October 2014. He then returned in May '17 with Charles Benfield accompanying him. Back then I said 'we were entranced by Mark's sharp observations on the world. His humour had smiles on faces all around the room - perhaps as they recognised themselves in songs (particularly Hardware Store!). While the musicianship was astounding it's listening to the words of Marks songs where the real reward comes.' That all holds true but I saw Mark at Old Bush Blues last summer, appearing as a band with both Charles on bass and Ben Welburn on drums/percussion and those wonderful songs take on a completely new life. In fact there's now 8 albums of songs for Mark to choose from so no matter how many times you see him you can pretty much guarantee each show will be different.

So if you want a night where the musicianship will blow you away, the songs with their intelligent lyrics will have you listening intently and where the humour will leave you with a smile on your face... this one's for you!
