About the Series:
This screening kicks off Village Cinemaโs Fall Indigenous Arts & Film Series โ an 8-week program celebrating Indigenous voices in film, music, and storytelling. Each Friday night from Sept 5 through Nov 1, Village Cinema will feature Indigenous works on the big screen, plus live performances and community programming.
About the Movie:

The first feature-length film created entirely by an all-Navajo team, directed by Shonie and Andee De La Rosa.
Set on the Navajo Nation, the film follows Cloyd Begay, a man struggling with alcoholism and domestic turmoil, as he fights to reclaim his role as husband and father. A powerful, authentic story of resilience and choice.
