Dr. Stockman makes a startling discovery and attempts to warn his small community about a looming catastrophe that will threaten their very lives. Soon after presenting the facts, he is shocked that influential leaders manipulate the message to turn the town against him and conspire to destroy his life for speaking truth to power.
