CONNECTING IN CONTACT: Classes with Tina Taylor
First Sunday of every month STARTING AUG. 3 (I can't get FB to behave) at Downtown Dance, 223 NW 2nd St, Corvallis, followed by open jam; $10-20 donation requested for the jam; the class is free.
Tina will teach the practice of Contact Improvisation dance with a focus on the element of Connection. Personal warmup 3:30 – 3:45, Class 3:45 – 4:45; Open Jam 4:45 – 5:45; Closing Circle 5:45-6pm.
Classes will start with basic CI bodily skills, and then guide you to reach through the bodies into a felt sense of energetic connection with your dance partner, where we can find that delicious experience of shared flow.
Everyone is welcome! All skill levels, ages, bodies, minds, hearts, preferred cuisines, etc. Excellent for those new to CI, too.
