Camp Like it's the 90s -- Spring Break '26

Camp and let the kids run wild! This trip is not about well-behaved kids who look to us for entertainment. We're bringing back the 90s and letting them be kids again. Bruises and screaming are encouraged.

We'll be filling up the camping spots nearest to the Nature Play Area so that the kids can walk there and back with minimal (if any) adult supervision. There's trails and a beach and a playground and a basketball court and fishing spots and places to ride bikes. Come join us for the whole time or make it a day trip.

We welcome:
- Any families -- if you see this and have kids, we want you to come. We can help if you've never camped before or don't have a tent!
- Dogs
- Bikes
- Adult beverages
- NOT apologizing for your kid being a kid. We all know they'll turn out fine -- don't worry if they say something mean or throw a hissy or ignore adults. We do not care.
- Letting the kids get scraped up, muddy, and bored. We want this to be a trip where we sit back and let the kids figure it out.


This is during the KSU Child Development Center spring break, so we might switch the dates to the earlier part of the week if the weather will be better then. Check out the map to see where we plan on camping. Reach out with any suggestions or questions!
