Birding and Books (8:00 AM) meet in the Lakeview Recreation Area Parking Lot

Added Bonus!!! Local author and birder Ethan Kistler will be on hand to share his passion for birding and host a special book signing. Don’t miss this chance to meet one of Ohio’s top birding voices, hear his stories from the field, and get your copy personally signed!

Take flight on an adventure that blends books and the outdoors! Join us for a short, guided birding hike where Girl Scouts will learn how to spot and identify some of the feathered friends that call Mosquito Lake home. Each participant will receive an age-appropriate birding book to continue their discoveries at home (while supplies last). Come ready with your curiosity, walking shoes, and a love for nature—this program is perfect for beginners and bird enthusiasts alike!
