The 14th Annual B10 Football Kickoff Mixer and Fundraiser for our local Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona organization is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, from noon to 3:00pm at Whiskey Roads (2290 W Ina Rd, Tucson, AZ 85741). This is an event that gets over 100 attendees from across local Big Ten alumni clubs and was started 14 years ago by our own Purdue Club!
There will be a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, an online donation competition between the clubs, and of course any food and drinks you wish to purchase from Whiskey Roads. (We ask that you spend at least $10/person on food and drink to support the restaurant that is hosting the event.) It is a great day of comradery with our fellow Big Ten alumni and serves a local worthy cause helping our youth.
You can access the silent auction in advance of the event or make donations directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona, boosting your school’s contributions in the competition for top donating school. The link to preview and begin bidding on the silent auction items will be posted on our club Facebook page before the event.
So come on out, have some fun, make some new friends or rekindle old friendships, and serve our community! We hope to see you out there!
