Award-winning singer-songwriter Wil Maring and virtuoso guitarist-fiddler Robert Bowlin smoothly blend bluegrass, jazz, blues, celtic & country. Wil’s songs arise from her rural midwestern roots and paint vivid pictures of her southern Illinois landscapes, addressing emotional topics universal to the human experience. Her airy vocal style, heartfelt delivery, and proficiency on upright bass and guitar beautifully complement Bowlin’s instrumental fireworks on lead guitar and fiddle. Wil is a Merlefest songwriting contest winner and Kerrville NewFolk finalist. Robert Bowlin, a two-time National Fingerpicking and Flatpicking Guitar contest winner and well-respected Nashville studio musician, has appeared on hundreds of recordings. He has been a band member with the likes of Bill Monroe, Kathy Mattea, the Osborne Brothers, Tom T. Hall and Ray Price. Both artists have performed original music at the Grand Ole Opry, and toured and recorded extensively.
