Companion Animal Rescue and Medical Assistance (Carma) has saved the lives of almost 5,000 dogs and cats and turned the Village of Corrales into the first no-K*ll community in New Mexico. CARMA helps homeless, abandoned, and abused animals by finding loving, permanent homes for the many cats and dogs that are awaiting adoption. CARMA's cats live in a cage-free and communal environment.
ABQ Involved will help CARMA's mission by painting a cattery room for Carma! Volunteers must be at least age 18. Supplies will be provided. Please wear closed toed shoes and old clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on.
