The SDK9C Remote Collar Course is designed to teach dog owners and handlers how to use the e-collar clearly, fairly, and effectively as a communication tool, not a shortcut or punishment. This course focuses on building reliability, clarity, and confidence in your dog while strengthening the handler–dog relationship.
Participants will learn proper collar fitting, understanding stimulation levels, timing, and how to pair the remote collar with obedience commands to achieve consistent results on and off leash. Emphasis is placed on low-level communication, safety, and ethical use, ensuring the dog remains motivated, engaged, and stress-free.
This course is ideal for pet owners, working dogs, and handlers looking to improve obedience, accountability, and real-world reliability through professional, proven training methods.
Dogs must demonstrate proficiency in the following using leash and reward-based methods:
• Sit
• Down
• Place
• Heel (loose leash)
• Recall (Come)
• Understanding of marker system (verbal or clicker)
⚠️ No e-collar introduction until the dog understands commands without pressure.
